My mate suggested reg plate check when I told him I was looking at a second-hand BMW. The service was quick and easy to use

I was expecting it to show the previous owner’s name, but that info wasn’t included in my report. They explained they don’t actually have names or personal details of previous owners, only the number of past owners so if your looking for this information you wont get it!

I would normally use car vertical when I’m checking out a new car just to make sure everything’s legit. but you get the same detailed info for half the price so can’t really go wrong with that! You can even cross check the VIN number to make sure it matches the car, you are looking at which is a nice bonus

Overall good experience, quick, clear, and easy to use. However, the valuation section came back blank on my report. Contacted customer service and was told valuation data varies depending on the vehicle. Not a big issue, but it would’ve been nice to see an estimated value. Otherwise, very useful!

Checking out the cars before I buy them can really save me alot of hassle and unexpected costs down the road. Thanks for the info
